Research and Development and the new Heinz Innovation Centre

Our R&D  employees  worldwide are constantly creating new products, packaging and processes, perfecting fresh ideas and developing nutritious and innovative foods. In order to remain the trusted leader in nutrition and wellness we are currently enhancing our European Research & Development capabilities by centralizing much of the Research and Development work  in the newly built Heinz Innovation Centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. This is Heinz’ second biggest centre worldwide and employs up to 200 employees.
 
The centre is designed to help employees think differently and creatively about how we can bring even more leading edge products to the European market. The building will incorporate kitchens for developing new products and presenting ideas, as well as laboratories to make sure our products are of the highest quality. It enables our team to work more collaboratively with our colleagues in Research and Development , throughout the business and with suppliers, research institutes and other third parties.
